Chico Starz Fastpitch is an organization based in Chico California. The organization consists of young women primarily from Chico and surrounding areas. Chico Starz teams strive to play at the most competitive level of play possible. As an ASA "A" travelling softball organization, our young ladies have the opportunity to complete nationally.
The Chico Starz organization provides youth from Chico and the surrounding areas the opportunity to develop and advance their athletic skills and learn about sportsmanship through team sports. Our philosophy is that strong communities are built when they have a strong foundation of active, confident youth that are offered healthy choices as they mature. We are dedicated to providing an environment where players can have fun playing the game; contribute to the continuing development of a players self-esteem, confidence and motivation.
Teams generally compete in the Spring/Summer and again in the fall. Spring/Summer play is focused generally focused on a more competitive level with possible goals of championship play (ASA Nationals). Fall is generally more developmental in nature at the younger ages while the older girls have the opportunity to attend fall college preview tournaments.
